New York Sloppy Joe

I learned to make this killer sandwich years ago, from a buddy who owned a deli. He was originally from New York, and he called this sandwich a New York Sloppy Joe: ham and Swiss on Jewish rye, dressed with homegrown tomatoes, slaw and homemade 1000 Isle dressing. Best eaten while standing over the kitchen sink.

That's a real sandwich, but I think one layer would do me. I'll have to lay in the necessary items for the next time we have slaw around.
